About
TONY CARR a mature comedian who started comedy late in life.

He has lots of experience so can talk about the trials and tribulations of growing old. Hopefully young people watching will give the old git a chance.

Tony came second in The Comedy Store’s King Gong Show, has won the Big Belly Gong Show and survived several times at Up The Creek’s Blackout Gong Show.
Tony Recently made it to the semi final of The Not So New Comedian of the Year.

Tony is originally from Newcastle. He is now retired and lives in London.
Tony previously was a successful IT consultant.
He has been married for over thirty years, happily according to his wife and
has two grown up children.

His comedy might be on the edge at times without being offensive.
(well not offending too many people anyway).

Tony enjoys watching all kinds of comedy. His favourites would include the edginess of Jimmy Carr and one liners of Gary Delaney.

Being fairly new to stand up, hopefully he will get the hang of it soon.
